Why is Turnaround Time an Important Subject When it Comes to Delivery of Embroidery Services?

The decorated apparel business, like most others, is extremely competitive.  Reputations are made and destroyed, and client relationships are built or broken, based on whether an embroidered apparel distributor can deliver an order to the final client quickly, on-time, and reliably every time.  There are no heroes for delivering the finished product quickly but one day late, or getting the job done slowly but on time.

Why is turnaround time critical for a contract embroidery service?

From experience, we find that many if not most embroidered apparel orders are event-driven.  That means that the final customer of our distributor clients may have a tradeshow or company event that they have placed their shirt order for, and those dates are inflexible.  If the shirts arrive one day late, the client is forced to attend the show without logoed apparel or the employee awards ceremony must be canceled or postponed.
